Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and caching software records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working properly.

Information relating to work carried out. Where we complete gas work, we record appliance details and safety check results as required by Gas Safe Register rules, and we may retain job notes, photographs of work and invoicing records.

Our enquiry forms are provided by Elementor Pro. When you submit a form, the details you enter are emailed to us and may also be stored in the website database so we do not lose your enquiry. We use this information only to respond to you and to arrange any work that follows.

Cookies and website analytics

We use a small number of cookies. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you are happy for us to use analytics cookies. No analytics cookies are set unless you click Accept.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry details for up to two years if the enquiry does not lead to work, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.

Where we have carried out work, we keep job and invoicing records for at least six years to meet HMRC requirements. Gas safety records, including landlord CP12 certificates, are retained for at least two years in line with Gas Safe Register guidance, and often longer as part of the property’s service history.

Your rights
